Paula Patton, an American producer and actress, is recognized for her performances as the lead in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol (an action thriller) and Precious (a dramatic). Her early years were spent at Los Angeles where she came from a middle-class family. She was raised by a mother, who was a fan of movies. Paula was involved in the co-curricular activities of her school and especially captivated by dramatics. Her classmates and she played together as well as participated in school productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School offered her numerous opportunities to act during her high school years and she chose acting to pursue a career. It was an enjoyable summer at University of Southern California. The program was awarded to her by PBS to make documentaries for the course of three months. Following the successful completion of the project, she started being a production assistant for TV documentaries. She then moved to produce documentaries. Her work was rewarding, but she still wanted to pursue a career as an actor. She started her career in acting when she appeared as Will Smith's co-star on romance comedy Hitch. Since then, she has been in many films and TV shows.
