Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American actor, voice actress, director producer and vocalist. Beautiful, intelligent and gifted actor, she's an example to Asian actors who want to make it big in Hollywood. In the wake of a number of first performances in popular shows her fame was boosted after joining the team of the legal comedy series Ally McBeal where she played the villainous Ling Woo. The actress translated her sudden popularity into big screen roles in films like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. The film Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an outstanding performance as Japanese crime boss O-Ren Ishii. In the same period she was also in box-office flops like Rise: Blood Hunter.
