Fawn Mckay
Fawn McCay Brodie, born at Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. Fawn MCKAY, brought up in the Mormon Church's First Family utilized her writing talent as well as research abilities to create an intriguing psycho-historical biography of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945, under the name"No Man knows My History, she used both. The title is derived from an 1844 funeral sermon preached by The Church of Latter-Day Saints' founder. My history is unknown to anyone. Nobody knows my story. Fawn 29, a woman of 29 years old, has written: "Since that moment of truthfulness, three or more writers have taken on the challenge." They do not have a lack of documents, they just contradict each the other. To assemble the documents -and separate the firsthand accounts from thirdhand plagiarism, and finally, to put Mormon and non Mormon narratives together into a reliable mosaic isn't an easy task. It is both exciting and instructive. It's a task which Fawn Brodie put her professional energy into. Thaddeus Stevens. Stevens is immortalized in her work and the fruits of her study.
